About Us
Southwestern Kentucky is home to traditions such as the Corvette plant,
thoroughbred horse farms, rich agriculture lands, and a religious
settlement at South Union called Shakertown. There is also one other
tradition in this area, which dates back to 1863. This tradition is a fifth
generation owned and operated leather manufacturer called Auburn
Leather Company.

Auburn Leather Company is located in the heart of Auburn, Kentucky
and has several third generation employees. We credit the success of our
company to our commitment of the quality materials and craftsmanship
that goes into every product. From our beginning in 1863 of tanning
leather and making horse and buggy equipment this company has grown
to world wide distribution since its introduction of making motorcycle bags
and accessories in 1988. We are a diverse American manufacturer with
various products lines. Auburn Leather Company manufactures
equestrian related products for the American Quarter Horse, Arabian and
Thoroughbred industries, as well as, producing leather hides and cutting
shoelaces for a wide range of major shoe manufacturers.

Auburn Leather Company strives to provide excellent customer service
for all of their customers. From the beginning of the process in selection
of American quality cow and steer hides, to sourcing the thread and rivets
in each product, quality materials and construction details are carefully
considered on each product made.
